Thimble Collectors International holds a convention every two years. The 2026 convention was held in San Antonio, Texas. It was a lot of fun.  It was hosted by the TCI Board vs a specific collector group.  The historic Menger Hotel was ideally situated adjacent to Alamo Plaza and within walking distance to restaurants and the River Walk.

In 2028 TCI will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary!  Plans are underway to find an ideal location for this convention as we hope to make it very special. If you have a US location in mind, please let us know.

Convention thimbles are made in very limited quantities — when they are gone, that’s it – we do not reorder convention thimbles. They become collector items. If you have never attended a convention, you are missing out on a lot of fun. The sales mall is where you will find fabulous treasures to add to your collection. The thimble and needlework tool programs are always informative.
