The Ohio Thimble Seekers proudly invite the membership of Thimble Collectors International to the Queen City on the Ohio River. The beautiful Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel is located in downtown Cincinnati with lots of shopping, museums and restaurants nearby.
The 17th biennial TCI 2010 convention will be held August 10 – 14, 2010 in a hotel with large meeting rooms with décor right out of the 1920’s while the guest rooms have all the comforts of the 21st century! The Rookwood Pottery Company made a beautiful fountain and other decorations throughout the hotel. www.rookwood.com. Enjoy the elegant atmosphere of the Orchids at Palm Court for fine dining and the casual The Grille at Palm Court for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres are served in the Palm Court Bar. In 2004, guest rooms were renovated and elevators were upgraded to the fastest in the city. In 1985 the Netherland Plaza earned National Historic Register and Historic Landmark status.
